Science Lab Specialist Joshua Buchheit is cultivating a unique living ecosystem in the Science Bio Lab Prep Room.
On top of the fish tank, youโll find Timothy, Orchard Grass, Romaine Lettuce, Kale, and Spinach ๐ฅฌ growing strong and nourished by the water below. Those plants help feed the gerbils, Dilly and Pickles ๐ฅ, while Louie Bluie Twoie and friends swim underneath, completing the cycle of life. ๐
This biosphere-in-action is an incredible example of hands-on science at JALC. ๐ง๐ฟ๐๐น
