Full-Time; Tenure Track Faculty

Faculty are covered under a 9-month contract period (August through May) and are required to teach a minimum of 15 credit hours and serve eight office hours per week for student consultation in fall and spring semesters. Additional teaching opportunities with compensation may be available in the summer semester. 

The candidate will be responsible for teaching developmental courses through upper division mathematics courses. The College seeks a candidate who places emphasis on student learning and student success as top priorities. Instructional responsibilities also include: course development, updating and submission of course syllabi in required format, assessment of student outcomes, conducting program review, development of resources for instruction, including those for online learning, and timely submission of student grades and progress. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to post and maintain office hours, engage in professional development, recruit students, participate fully in departmental duties, institutional committees, and activities as assigned. The candidate is also expected to represent the College credibly with respect to any of its activities, and observe, support, and enforce the regulations, policies, and programs of the College.


Educational Requirements: M.S. in Mathematics or M.S. in Mathematics Education (with 18 or more graduate credit hours in mathematics)

 Experience Requirements: Proficiency in the use of instructional technology with online delivery and development

 Experience Preferred: Post-secondary teaching experience


Starting salary is determined by educational level and teaching experience as per contract salary schedule, and opportunities exist for overload and summer teaching.
