Full-Time, Non-Teaching Professional; Grade 3; Temporary

Assist the director in implementing and managing a comprehensive program of financial aid opportunities and services that are compliant with federal, state, accreditation and institutional requirements, and which supports the College’s objective to deliver financial aid services that are clear, compliant, professional, and efficient; perform a variety of moderately complex administrative tasks related to reviewing, processing, and managing financial aid funds; counseling and advising students of opportunities; reviewing, researching, and resolving discrepancies; utilizing various software programs to process applications and files; responsible for calculating student budgets and awarding student aid funds within established eligibility guidelines, regulations, and budgets; review and evaluate federal financial aid applications for completeness and accuracy; evaluate, record, and process the Satisfactory Academic Progress of financial aid recipients; manage the reconciliation and reporting of various funds; effectively use electronic programs and resources to analyze, process, and disseminate information; comprehend the complex federal and state regulations governing financial aid programs to accurately determine college and student eligibility for Title IV program funds; deliver exceptional customer service for all students; participate in development of operational training opportunities to maximize team performance; ability to perform in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, goal-based environment; other duties as assigned.


Require's a Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or related field; two years’ work experience in the area of financial aid administration and management information systems.  Master’s degree in related field; experience with the following: packaging and certifying financial aid awards, managing aid from Title IV funds, working with various electronic financial aid systems, enhancing both customer service and automation through appropriate use of technology, thorough knowledge of imaging and financial aid functionality within an automated environment, excellent multi-tasking skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality is preferred.


$33,582 (salary commensurate with education and experience per salary schedule)
