Full-time; Non-Teaching Professional; Grant; Grade 3

Works collaboratively with Dean, Associate Dean for CTE, Department Chairs, and CTE faculty in planning for the use of the Perkins funding allocation, ensuring proposed programs, activities, and purchases are in alignment with Perkins grant requirements and the college’s goal and objectives; coordinates work efforts with college's Business Office to create a Perkins grant budget with appropriate accounts and funding levels; oversees budget expenditures and initiates and approves transfer of funds allowable under the grant; meets regularly with Department Chairs and CTE faculty to review timelines for initiating the procurement process to purchase approved resources (i.e. goods and services) with grant funds; provides guidance and support on preparing purchase requisitions, researching vendors, requesting quotes, and working with the Director of Purchasing and Auxiliary Services to coordinate and expedite the procurement process; coordinates advisory meetings with Department Chairs, CTE faculty, and industry partners to review progress of program goal and objectives; coordinates and executes various grant-funded activities including professional development workshops and student events; manages inventory of equipment and other non-consumable items purchased through grant funds as required by grant guidelines; prepares quarterly reports documenting program activities, outcomes, and purchases funded by Perkins in collaboration with the Dean, Department Chairs, and Business Office staff to ensure compliance with grant reporting requirements; serves as the point-of-contact for Perkins-eligible students and helps to secure Perkins support and services to ensure their success; attends local, state, and national training and meetings as required by the grant; coordinates and works with the Director of Dual Credit and Partnerships to support dual enrollment programs and related initiatives to strengthen postsecondary CTE opportunities for students; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, career and technical education, business, public administration, or related field; two years of work experience in an administrative role, preferably in education or a not-for-profit organization; demonstrated communication and collaboration skills that can be used to work with multiple team members to accomplish goals in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred qualifications include: master's degree in education, counseling, career and technical education, business, public administration, or related field; previous work experience with grant-funded activities.

Salary

$33,582 - $41,978 (salary commensurate with education and experience per salary schedule)
