VINCENNES, IND. - There wasn't much positive for the John A. Logan College women's basketball team to take away from Wednesday's 99-52 beatdown in Vincennes.

Sophomore center Alison Webb from Goreville knocked down 21 points, including 3-of-3 from long range to pace the Vols' offense. Abbi Denton added eight points and Sarah Bailey contributed seven.

Logan trailed 58-29 at the half. The Vols turned the ball over 24 times on the night, 12 in each half. They made 20-of-62 shots from the field.

Vols head coach Marty Hawkins said his ballclub made it easier for a talented Vincennes team with the turnovers and not getting back on defense.

"We scored the first basket of the game, but then it was 9-2 before we could even get a time out. We never really had an answer for them. We didn't run the floor well at all. Vincennes (14-2) is a very good team and they really took it to us tonight."

Now 5-7 overall, Logan plays at Rend Lake Saturday at 1 p.m.
