INA – Freshman Jen Bailey tossed a complete-game no-hitter Sunday to help lead the John A. Logan College softball team to a doubleheader sweep of Rend Lake, 6-3 and 3-0.

In the Game 2 win, Bailey struck out four and walked three, but allowed no hits.

"My change up was my best pitch today," Bailey said. "It feels great to help our team get a sweep."

Freshman shortstop Kiley Pelker paced the offense with three hits. Centerfielder Maddie Craig and Bailey notched two hits each. Adding one apiece were Amanda Evinger, Kelsey Rogers and Katie Hutchison.

In the opener, Rogers belted two homers and drove in three and Bailey went 2-for-4 with a homer and double. Kelsey Robinson finished 2-for-3.
