CARTERVILLE – Coaches from the defending Great Rivers Athletic Conference baseball champion, John A. Logan College Volunteers, will host a summer baseball showcase Wednesday, June 24 at the college’s baseball facility.

The camp gets under way with registration at 10:30 a.m. followed by the workout at 11. It is open to all graduated seniors and returning high school students. Cost is $30 if paid in advance or $35 the day of the event.

Players will be evaluated in the 60-yard sprint; throws from the outfield; throws from the infield; catcher pop-up times; batting practice; and bullpen sessions.
