High School Art Students Recognized at Logan

CARTERVILLE – Dozens of area students from within the district participated in the 40th Annual High School Art Exhibition this week on the John A. Logan College campus.
Following is a breakdown on the categories of competition and the winners who were presented with cash prizes and certificates:
DRAWING: Lindsey Sears-Carbondale (first); Amy Jung-Carbondale (second); Katie Bushur-Carbondale (third).
OTHER MEDIA 2D: Courtney Shadowens-Marion (first); Coltan Steinmetz-Johnston City (second); Sawyer Latour-Carbondale (third).
PAINTING: Natalie Rendleman-Carbondale (first); Mataya Frey-Marion (second); Alison Moreno-Carbondale (third).
COMPUTER ART: Darius Johnson-Brehm Prep (first); Sebastien Bradford-Brehm Prep (second); Grace Rueter-Marion (third).
