DAYTONA, FLA. - The John A. Logan College women's golf team stands 12th after the first day of competition at the four-day national tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Volunteers shot a team score of 369. Top individual performer was sophomore Adrian Brown of Carterville, who carded an 86 (46/40). She is presently tied for 35th overall.

Sophomore Reagan Keepes of Mount Carmel finished at 91 (48/43). Sophomore Payton Choate of Trico (49/47) and freshman Madison Bushue of Effingham (47/49) followed with a 96. 

Rend Lake is perched in 10th plate with a team score of 363. 

Alexis Hammerton and Shelby Johnson checked in at 88 and are tied for 39th place overall. 

Morgan Wilson (93), Addison Gray (94), and Taylor Aldridge (103) round out the scoring for the Warriors. 

Host Daytona State is atop the leader board with a 291.
