CARTERVILLE – The John A. Logan College men’s golf team will host a four-player fundraising scramble on Friday, May 27th at Kokopelli Golf Course in Marion. The competition gets under way at 1 p.m. that day and cost is $100 per player or $400 per team. All proceeds benefit the JALC men’s golf program.

Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf; cart; lunch; and access to the 50/50 cash drawing.

Former JALC players, families, and friends are also invited to gather for a meet-and-greet reunion at Kokopelli Grill at 6 p.m. the day prior to the golf tournament or Thursday, May 26th.

“We’re hoping to raise enough money to help sustain our program at Logan,” said Vols head coach Tom Ferris. “All the funds raised will go toward equipment, travel, and meals. With dwindling funds from the state and athletic budgets reduced at the college, these are the kinds of things you have to do now in order to survive.”
