CARTERVILLE – John A. Logan used great shooting to beat Wabash Valley, 93-78, at home Wednesday night.  The win moved the Vols, 14-5 and 6-3, into a tie for second place in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference.

Logan made 8 of 10 three pointers in the first half to claim a 52-44 lead at the half.  The sharp shooting continued in the second half as the Vols held off several runs by Wabash Valley.  For the game, the Vols shot 52% from the field, 50% from three and 68% from the line.

Five Vols scored in double figures led by Jalen Perry with 26 points while Chad Culbreath had 17, Allen Billinger scored 16, and Will Robinson added 12.  The Warriors, 15-5 and 6-3, were led by T.J. Parham with 21 points and Javonni Harrell with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
