Graduation Deadlines Approaching for JALC Students

John A. Logan College officials recently announced plans to hold an in-person graduation ceremony on May 13 at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Grandstand.  Students interested in participating in the ceremony and having their name listed in the Graduation Booklet need to apply for Graduation by Wednesday, March 31.  Students can apply for Graduation on the John A. Logan College homepage at www.jalc.edu/admissions/apply-for-graduation/.

The deadline to order caps and gowns for students that plan to walk in the graduation ceremony is Sunday, April 4, by 11:59 PM.  Caps and gowns can be ordered through the Jostens website at www.jostens.com.  It is free to place an order online.  Payments will be due at the time of pick-up at the John A. Logan College Bookstore.  The John A. Logan College bookstore is temporarily located in the SIU Student Center.

Due to COVID restrictions, each graduate attending the ceremony will be allowed six guests.  Tickets will be required for admittance and will be given to the students when they pick up their cap and gown.
