Benefits of Summer Enrollment:

  • Jumpstart a degree: New students can take summer classes to get a head start on their degree.
  • Catch Up on Credits: If a student has fallen behind due to a failed or dropped course, summer classes provide a chance to stay on track without extending their graduation timeline.
  • Graduate sooner: Summer courses allow students to complete credits ahead of schedule, helping them graduate early or lighten their course load in future semesters.
  • Reduce Costs: Taking summer classes at a community college and transferring credits can be a cheaper alternative to a university course.
