Admissions and Records

The Admissions and Records office at John A. Logan College handles everything from applying to the College, evaluating transfer coursework, ordering JALC transcripts, and applying for graduation.

We offer several application options based on your student type and citizenship. Please select and complete the application that best applies to you.

After applying, students will receive an email at the address provided in the application containing their student ID number and next steps.

Contact Admissions at admissions@jalc.edu with questions about your application status.

John A. Logan College welcomes prospective students to visit campus Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Special appointments with academic advisors or department representatives may also be available upon request. During an individual campus visit, prospective students can meet with an admissions representative, tour campus, learn about the financial aid process, scholarship opportunities and get your enrollment questions answered.

Connect with us for more information about exploring our campus!

  1. Students must provide an official transcript certifying graduation from a secondary school. John A. Logan reserves the right to evaluate the validity and accreditation of all high school transcripts submitted for admission and financial aid purposes.
    • Submit a copy of your official high school transcript or equivalency with graduation date to admissions@jalc.edu or the Office of Admissions and Records, C201.
    • If a student cannot provide a final high school transcript or its equivalent, they will not be eligible for federal or state financial aid. View Board Policy 8110 for more information on admissions criteria.
  2. Fill out the Application for Change of Residency to verify your in-district residency for tuition payment purposes. Students must have resided within the district for at least 30 days before the first day of class. Visit the Residency Requirements page for more information.
