The Welding program provides detailed methods of instruction and training in the four most common metal joining methods. Welding is becoming an increasingly high-tech skill in which welders are trained to operate automated systems that use powerful lasers that can bond to metal. The demand for skilled welders is rising, register to get your certificate or welding degree today!
Upon successful completion of the Welding Technology Certificate, the student will have the opportunity to enter the workforce as a welding technician. The program will prepare graduates for entry into union trades positions including boilermakers, plumbers & pipefitters, structural steel workers, rail car repair and general maintenance, and small and medium job shops.
