In celebration of Black History Month, John A. Logan College will host a poetry reading by Allison Joseph on February 15 at 10:00 AM in the John A. Logan College Conference Center. Allison Joseph lives in Carbondale, Illinois, where she is a professor of English at Southern Illinois University.
John A. Logan College is the only College in the region, and possibly the first community college in Illinois to use the SynDaver Synthetic Human Surgical Model to train Anatomy and Physiology students and students in the Emergency Medical Services Program.
Each semester any full-time student with a 4.0 grade-point average earns recognition on the President’s List. Any full-time student with a grade-point average between 3.55 and 3.99 earns recognition on the Provost’s List.
