Fully Vaccinated Students at JALC Can Receive Two Hundred Dollars

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker recently announced a mandate requiring all higher education students in the state to be vaccinated or submit to weekly testing. Before the announcement, John A. Logan College officials had begun working on an incentive of $200 for fully vaccinated against COVID19 students currently enrolled in at least three credit hours as part of the Higher Education Relief Fund.

Two Fully Vaccinated JALC Students Win Tuition Waivers

John A. Logan College officials announced plans in July to hold a drawing for two full-tuition waivers for the fall semester. Any student enrolled for a minimum of twelve credit hours that provided proof of COVID19 vaccination was eligible.

Graduation Deadlines Approaching for JALC Students

John A. Logan College officials recently announced plans to hold an in-person graduation ceremony on May 13 at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Grandstand. Students interested in participating in the ceremony and having their name listed in the Graduation Booklet need to apply for Graduation by Thursday, March 25.
