John A. Logan College Names Head Start Room in Honor of Longtime Educator Dr. Marilyn Toliver

John A. Logan College has honored longtime educator Dr. Marilyn Toliver by naming the College’s Head Start Room the Dr. Marilyn Toliver Room in recognition of her more than four decades of service in education, including 33 years leading the College’s Early Childhood Education Program.

JALC Nursing Department to Host Not-So-Scary Trick-or-Treat Event October 18

The John A. Logan College Nursing Club will host its annual “Not-So-Scary Trick or Treat” event on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the College’s main campus in Carterville. The family-friendly event will take place at the West Main Entrance, the Conference Center, Brewer Gymnasium, and Bechtel Community Health Education Complex.
