Three administrators from John A. Logan College were selected to present at the 2026 Higher Learning Commission Annual Conference, marking the first time since 2014 that staff have presented at the national event.
Evan Giles of Du Quoin did not always see college in his future. “I just didn’t really think school was for me,” he said. That began to change during his freshman year of high school, when he developed an interest in cars.

John A. Logan College has announced a $300,000 gift from the FDC Foundation and longtime supporter Frank Cluck to establish the Frank and Dorothy Cluck Endowed Scholarship, a fund designed to provide ongoing financial support and emergency assistance for students.

The John A. Logan College Nursing Department will host the 7th Annual Dr. Barbara Patchett Eggstravaganza for neurodiverse children and their siblings on Saturday, March 28, on the John A. Logan College campus. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m., and the egg hunts begin at 11:00 a.m.
