Associate in Arts

This is a two-year associates degree program designed to meet the lower level (freshman and sophomore) course requirements of a four-year University for students majoring in History Education. Students enrolled in this program plan to transfer into a Teacher Education Program at a university to teach History secondary education.

  1. Students will craft clear and persuasive prose to explain the process of change over time.
  2. Students will interpret a range of primary sources to determine their origins, perspective, usefulness, and reliability.
  3. Students will be able to put events in chronological order, clearly explaining cause and effect.
