John A. Logan College, a community college located in southern Illinois, is dedicated to enriching lives through learning and community engagement. We are seeking dynamic and versatile full-time, tenure-track social science faculty members to join the Department of Communication, Humanities, and Social Sciences. We encourage applications from individuals with single or multiple curricular competencies, with a preference for candidates qualified to teach across disciplines. We are hiring to fill four vacancies in the following disciplines:
Education & Experience Requirements
Education required:
A master’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
Education preferred: Master’s degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in more than one discipline. For candidates applying to teach in the education discipline, a Professional Education License (PEL) is preferred.
Experience required: The ability to communicate effectively and have basic computer literacy. For candidates applying to teach in the education discipline, three years of full-time teaching experience in a K-12 classroom is required.
